FULL INSPECTION CERTIFIED APPRAISAL

The Nationwide Aircraft Appraisal Service Full Inspection Certified Appraisal begins with a thorough inspection of the exterior and interior of the aircraft by our appraiser. Special attention is paid to the condition of the airframe, paint and propulsion system. Airframe modifications as well as signs of damage is documented. Inspection of the interior includes documentation of all fixtures, furnishings and additionally installed electronic business and entertainment systems as well as emergency equipment. The avionics are inventoried to insure they are properly accounted for in assessing the value of the aircraft. A full set of digital photographs is taken of the exterior and interior documenting the positive attributes of the aircraft as well as any defects discovered during the inspection.

Next, the maintenance log records are carefully examined to determine whether maintenance was done to keep the aircraft in top condition or just to maintain a minimal level of serviceability. Airworthiness Directive (AD) and Service Bulletin (SB) status is reviewed along with record of major inspections and repairs. What is not recorded within the maintenance records is especially important, such as missing or altered pages and undocumented inspections and modifications. Special attention is also given to any record of previously repaired damage that may have a significant impact on the aircraft's value. Depending upon the aircraft make and model, the appraisal inspection process typically requires from 4 to 6 hours to complete.

After the aircraft inspection and maintenance records examination is complete, the process of establishing the aircraft's value begins. Utilizing our extensive aircraft sales record database, the information collected during the inspection is analyzed and compared to the transaction details of recently sold comparable aircraft as well as those currently offered for sale.

Once the 30 to 40 page USPAP compliant appraisal report has been finalized and approved, the report is then delivered to the client electronically normally within 5 business days after completion of the aircraft inspection.
